THE MIGHTY REGIS (myspace.com/themightyregis) are looking for a new drummer. We are NOT looking for someone to rent by the hour; we ARE looking for someone who wants to join the band fulltime.

We are a Celtic Punk band in the vein of Flogging Molly (George Schwindt), The Pogues (Andrew Ranken), Dropkick Murphys (Matt Kelly), Flatfoot 56 (Justin Bawinkel), etc. Influences also include The Clash, Johnny Cash, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Sex Pistols, and so on. We average a show a week, playing all over California, and just finished an east coast tour. There is no money to start, but we are working our asses off to change that. We are not a weekend dick-around band; we're working to make it.

We are looking for someone skilled, professional, and easy-going; a sense of humor wouldn't hurt. The man you're replacing set a pretty high bar, and we're not looking to step backwards.

Smiths is the closest I can really compare it to. Please e mail me for further info. Simply looking to create great music, the majority danceable. The objective is a 4 piece where all members are crutial to it's sound. No dubbing or tricks. Just solid flow and grove. Fantasic female drummer on board. I'm the guitarist, 18 years on guitar and bass(can sing too, but I'll be busy on guitar), with a good number of songs. No drama. I've put off music for school and previos dead ends. Hopefully you know what I mean. Lyric writing a plus. Transportation required.
